As of August 1, 2007 WE ARE IN OUR NEW HOME! THANK YOU JESUS!! Our new room additions continue - See Below We are continuing to add more rooms & make property improvements. After reading up on our needs below, CLICK HERE to find out how you can give! *We need computers in whole on part* See Below. Our 15 passenger van died - we need new transportation for the kids - see below As any orphanage or other non-profit goes our needs span the gamut ranging from the daily to the ultimate. The children need to wear uniforms to school, they need new shoes from time to time, and experience an almost daily need for new school supplies. In Mexico, rent is cheap, but utilities are VERY expensive. We have acquired a new property & a major renovation / construction project is in progress. Just like any household, there are many bills to pay, maintenance costs, and of course, kids to take care of. Just take the average American household and amplify the needs about 10-fold. *WE HAVE A NEW HOME!* Updated 08-23-07 - As of July of 2006 We have recently acquired a new property very close to our current one. This property was truly a gift from God. It was a father's dying wish to pass this property on to a group that would use it to benefit children. God has honored this wish in a very big way by providing this wonderful opportunity for us! Now, over 1 year later we are now living in our new home. We send a big thank you to everyone who made this project possible. By the power of God, we now have room to grow! We still, however have ongoing construction projects. Please see below for more information as we grow our new property. *AN EXAMPLE OF HOW GOD IS ALREADY BLESSING US* Below are three pictures: one of the lovely kitchen in our new home which is already completed. The one in the middle is showing one of our bedrooms in the main house. It's move-in ready! The last shot is of new room additions above the outside guest bathrooms. NEW KITCHEN! The main house is complete! NEW ROOMS! *HOW CAN I HELP?* We are moving into our new home on Saturday, July 28th. The entire main home is finished. We are still in need of help with our new room additions which we are continuing to build after we move into the main house. See below for our list of current needs.. We thank God for this wonderful gift & ask for continued prayer for continued provision as we move into this next step in our ministry. On the shots below, you can see the 2 floors being added on top the new bathroom additions right in front of the main building. These floors will add another 4 rooms. The two outdoor bathroom / showers below will be used primarily for guests that come to our home and for extra shower & bathroom space for the kids when needed. The third shot below is of the second story currently being added onto our new room additions located behind the outside bathrooms seen in the first picture. See below for a list of current needs. Exterior painting was completed as of early July.
If you look closely at the last shot above, you will notice the huge cracks in the rear structure, warranting the need to just tear down and build again, bigger & better. This project will also need continued support.
Our immediate needs encapsulated: - WE ARE NEARLY $10,000 AWAY FROM COMPLETING OUR GRAND PROJECT!! Click HERE to find out how you can give! - Continuing additions to the property: rooms, parking area, etc... - various needs - call or email for details - 2 large capacity dryers - Wrought iron fencing around property - FULFILLED - Security camera / intercom system for patio & front door area - Security entry gate & outside doors - FULFILLED - Security bars for windows - FULFILLED - ANOTHER SURPRISE NEED - As of July 20th, out big 15 passenger van has died. Although it's repairable, It is very old & we need to replace it. we have to currently use a minivan to move our home, and we will need a big enough vehicle to take the kids to school once fall begins. - SEMI-IMMEDIATE NEED: paved parking area behind or in front of property - currently all we have is street parking. - A complete security camera / remote entry & intercom system for our outside entry gate & patio areas to be able to see & "buzz" people in remotely (an older system from a company or home doing an upgrade?) IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP WITH SOME ONGOING NEEDS, below is a brief list needs we have on an ongoing basis. This list will be updated as new needs arise . Any amount of course is greatly appreciated. SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Varies, as the teachers at these schools seem to always be asking the kids to buy some type of new item for their classes on a weekly, and sometimes daily basis. If one kid comes home and tells Pastor Freddy "I need a graph book", another will come and ask," I need a plant for science class." I have personally heard these requests, and sometimes we are spending around $30 or more a week to meet each kids' needs. WE NEED COMPUTERS IN WHOLE OR IN PART. WE ARE CURRENTLY COLLECTING MACHINES FOR MULTIPLE PURPOSES:
